Info for Visitors

We realize that visiting any church, especially a small church, can feel intimidating. So we want to give you as much information as we can so you will feel more comfortable if you decide to visit one Sunday. A few things that you might want to know:

  • We meet at O. Henry Middle School which is located in Central Austin a block off of Lake Austin Blvd. on Exposition at 10 AM. Click here for directions.
  • We are a new church. We began meeting together in October of 2006, so we are all new at this. You will find our Sunday gatherings warm in feel and loosely programmed. Our adults range from college-age to graying, and children from newborn to high school.
  • When you enter O. Henry you will see a kids table to your right where you can sign in your kids at our Children's Ministry: ROOTS. The children are divided into 5 groups: Nursery, 2's and 3's, 4's and 5's, 1st through 3rd grade and 4th through 6th grade. We will direct you to your child's room.
  • The adults meet in the cafeteria which will be to your left as you enter. We have a coffee bar and welcome table with name tags and snacks whenever you get there.

We hope that you will continue to look around our website to learn more about us, but know that you are simply just learning facts. In order to really know about our church, you have to meet our church, learn our personalities, and our passions, and we hope we will get the opportunity to learn those things about you as well. See you Sunday!
