Identity & Values
Values are beliefs within a culture which are celebrated and protected. We at Austin Bible believe our values can be expressed in 3 words: Worship, Community, and Mission.
Worship- We live in a day and age where humanism reigns. God has been reduced to whatever you feel like making him today. As a church committed to exalting God as Sovereign, the Scriptures as Truth, and Christ as Savior, we will seek to grow as worshippers in all we do.
Community- Biblical community happens when the people of God take seriously the one anothers of Scripture. Our desire is not to reduce community to a group or event. Biblical community happens as people need, care, and exhort one another toward God.
Mission- The mission of the people of God is to be about the mission of God. What is that mission? The mission of God is that all peoples, in all places, at all times will worship God alone. Just as God sent His Son to the earth and just as the Father and Son sent the Spirit, so the people of God are sent to make God known.
