Christ is the head of the church. Those in church leadership serve as undershepherds to the One who promised to build His church. At the proper time, a plurality of elders will be appointed to provide spiritual leadership of Austin Bible Fellowship.
We esteem Team because the Bible esteems Team. We were created to be an interdependent group of people...the Body of Christ. We desire team to permeate every aspect of our church's ministry, from service projects to team teaching. No Christian should be left in the stands. On a team, each person plays a critical role. The role of church leadership is to "equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the Body of Christ (Eph 4:12).
